This has been on my mind for long but I’m gonna do this - please reblog this if you’re comfortable with pre-establishing relationships. I do not mean “met at the grocery store two weeks ago” or “have a common friend”, but rather stuff like “have been best friends since kindergrden”, “go for a beer every friday”, “friends with benefits”, “dated in highschool”, “hate each other’s guts because -insert reason-” etc. Something meaningful (but not necessarily shippy)and I mean with muns/characters you have not interacted with, because I cannot believe I am the only one who prefers jumping right into the heart of the human interaction
Tumblr Savior and other similar programs read the first word after the hashtag and not the rest. This helps no one who wants to block a specific subject. Also I’m pretty sure that semicolons and colons mess with the programs too.

Savior programs block things that say ‘#(subject)’ as it counts as a single word and prevents the program from blocking out posts that just say (subject). You can also just have #(subject) in the post itself and those programs will automatically block the posts.
CW/content warnings are used for when the subject its not really specifically considered to be something that could bring on PTSD or the like #vomit cw or #blood cw, as opposed to something like #suicide tw. Basically, use them when you don’t wanna come off as a tool lol

me and my friends are mostly in our late twenties/early thirties - and my older roommate is almost 50 - and we all play board and card games… if my video games weren’t in storage I’d be playing those, too. Still play computer games now and then!
i think these sweet young people are going to be so disappointed when they become older and realize how totally ordinary your life remains (even when you have a mortgage). Lol.
When people in rps tell you that since your character is older, she or he wouldn’t play board games, video games and so forth. “That’s not realistic.”
i’m older. My friends are even older than me (some of them) and that is pretty much what we do. Last weekend, board games and tea. This week is book club. We also actually talk about the books. We have playstations and x-boxes. Of course our board games tend to be games like Killer Bunnies or Cards Against Humanity. But still, this is our social life.
Apparently my friends and I live an unrealistic life.
